The filter, range, layout and sort you last used are remembered on this device and restored when you come back. A shared link always wins over them, so opening someone else's link shows you what they meant to send.
Google Calendar opens with the event already filled in, one tap to save, which is the only version that visibly works on a phone. The file works better on a Mac or in Outlook, and is always what Add all to my calendar uses, because a whole week really is a file.
Defaults to walking directions, because that is what tapping a venue is usually asking. UA's own map is better for which building is that, with photos and a building ID, but it answers with a search result list rather than a pin, which is slow on a phone when you are already late.
